Foundation Programs
The Spokane Police Foundation is proud to sponsor the Department's youth outreach programs, specifically the Youth & Police Initiative (YPI) and the Police Activities League (PAL).
These programs were created to help build trusting relationships between youth and local law enforcement and are having a positive impact throughout our community.
The Foundation is also proud to sponsor the Crisis Assistance Program that provides officers with funds 24/7/365 to assist those they come into contact with who are in crisis and have an immediate need.
Additionally, the Spokane Police Foundation supports the Spokane Police Department by providing financial support to the Volunteer Services Unit (Reserve Officers, Police Explorers, Police Cadets, Citizen Volunteers), the Honor Guard, annual events like Faith & Blue, as well as opportunities that arise for the police department to partner with other organizations like the 2023 Thrive Soccer Camp. Each year we provide financial support for the Christmas Giving Program, as well as annual back to school Shop with a Cop events. We sponsor other programs for the police department to work with at risk youth.
Learn more about each program and find out how you can help support them. You can designate your donation to a particular program by noting that when you donate on-line or by noting the program on your check; or you can donate to our general funds. All donations allow us to continue to support these amazing programs!
Thank you to our community partners who have supported us over the years!
